Space Hulk: Deathwing download PC
Space Hulk: Deathwing download for PC, PS4 and XONE is another video game based on a classic 1989's board game created by Games Workshop and set in the world of Warhammer 40.000. The original Space Hulk board game received its re-edition twenty years after it was first released. Contrary to both the 1993's and 2013's adaptations representing the RPG and strategy genres (turn-based), Space Hulk: Deathwing download is a full-fledged first person shooter based on the Games Workshop's license. The game was developed in cooperation of Cyanide (the Blood Bowl series) with Streum On Studio, popular mainly for E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.
In Space Hulk: Deathwing download for PC, PS4 and XONE, the player takes on the role of the titular Deathwing squad's member. It is a special group of space marines, whose job is to eliminate aliens known as Genestealers and liberate the legendary Space Hulk in so doing. The place is a space-junkyard made of shipwrecks, huge asteroids and other interstellar waste. However, mysterious artifacts and ancient technologies are hidden there as well. Those have become targets for desirous space pirates and the player's main enemy.
The player participates in a set of skirmishes against different kinds of vermin, making use of both weapons and bionic powers appearing in the world of Warhammer 40.000. At the same time, the game offers typical RPG elements coming with an original system of character development. The protagonist belongs to an elite group known as Librarians. Thus the player unlocks subsequent skills and powers exchanged for points gathered during missions. When it comes to the character development system itself, it comprises four skill trees.
Space Hulk: Deathwing download for PC, PS4 and XONE utilizes the modern-day Unreal Engine 4, which provides excellent visuals. The game combines the classic first person shooter mechanics with RPG elements in a convincing, dark atmosphere. This new adaptation is a good choice both for the fans of Warhammer 40.000 and standard science-fiction first person shooter games.
