Flotsam download PC
Flotsam download is a city builder strategy that is manned in non-standard realities. The player must build a city drifting on the water. For this purpose it uses rubbish floating on the surface of the water. Pajama Llama Games studio is responsible for the production. The edition was undertaken by the Congregate.
The world depicted in Flotsam download has been exterminated. The planet has become a great ocean, which has absorbed all the achievements of mankind. The player's task is to expand the floating city and meet the basic needs of its inhabitants.
Flotsam download modifies mechanics known from classic games classified to the genre. The player is provided with a number of different types of buildings and boats that he can build. For this purpose, it is necessary to have an adequate amount of appropriate rubbish, which is the remains of a fallen civilisation. Finding them requires constant movement of the city on the surface of the planet. The city is in constant motion, mostly independent of the player. Controlled city manoeuvres can be carried out using special tugboats.
Not everything in the game world has been sunk. Some high structures protrude above the water surface. You will find in them various types of raw materials, including fuel for boats. The ruins are also home to people looking for shelter and merchants where you can exchange goods. But be careful that the city does not happen with the structure. This can cause a lot of damage. However, collisions with protruding objects are not the only threat. The oceans are home to many aggressive creatures that can attack at any time.
City dwellers expect access to fresh water and food. The player must ensure a constant supply of both of these resources. In order to do so, rainwater should be collected and various types of sea creatures should be hunted.
The fleet is kept in a cartoon convention. Despite the apocalyptic theme, the graphics are kept in very bright colors.
Moving around the planet, you can come across a variety of constructions. Most of them are completely under water. These objects only enrich the monotonous abyss of the ocean. The objects protruding on the surface are interactive and serve as a source of raw materials.
